Day 2 camp. Had some major gear malfunctions, both the valve for the cooking gas started leaking badly the first day and then the water filter oring wouldn’t seal. I had to do some temp repairs and started boiling water on the fire to try and conserve gas because it was rapidly leaking away. In the end it all worked out, luckily.

Around 10-12 miles on day 2 Really feeling my fee

Around 10-12 miles on day 2 Really feeling my feet in the minimalist shoes with pack weight at this point but came into this amazing fern glad in the middle of the forest. The smells and quality of light were incredible. My terrible phone and lack of effort filming don’t do it justice!!!
